  Beautiful spot. Very friendly owners who live on site. Reasonable prices. Canoe and row boat rental (only one of each). But no trails directly from the site and the "beach" is just where the boat launch is. Still, a nice spot to go to get out of the city.

  Great hospitality from the couple that runs the place. Mussels over the fire simple and tasty. Extremely great value for the money. I am going to recommend to everyone I know from Vancouver to visit when they decide to RV or camp. UNICORN FIRE!!!

  This is honestly one of the best RV spots I've been too. It's definitely a gem for Nova Scotia! They make u feel right at home. The mussel boil was awsome. Some of the best mussels I've had! Great company around the community camp fire at night would definitely stay again and recommend to all my friends. And it's the home of the unicorn fire!!!

  We were excited to camp for the first time this year as we are new to Nova Scotia, and being new we were unfamiliar with our camping options. So we googled and found Murphy's fairly quickly and with excitement we booked a site (site 50 as it seemed private) days prior to the trip. Unfortunately upon arrival we learned that our site had been given away to some other campers and we were left looking at what sites were left. We weren't impressed with how close to one another the sites were, there is next to no privacy and you cannot see the ocean. It's there, but not quite how the title 'camping on the ocean' sounds. If you are looking for a community like camping experience or RV site, this may work for you, but not if you want a true tent and campfire experience, I would keep searching for alternative campgrounds. This all being said we did not stay the night and stayed at a campground up the road instead, this review is based on first impression and customer experience.
